Notes from the Teacher
-THANK
YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED SHOE BOXES FOR OUR STEM PROJECT! WE HAVE A GOOD
START, BUT ARE STILL IN NEED OF SHOE BOXES AND/OR TISSUE BOXES FOR A FEBRUARY
STEM PROJECT! IF YOU HAVE ANY THAT YOU
WOULD BE WILLING TO DONATE, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANK YOU!
-There will be NO After School Program
on February 5 after the Grandparents Program.
Due to the
fact that in past years, we have had very few students stay in the After School
Program on Grandparents Day, the After School Program will not operate on
February 5. If your child will not be going home with a grandparent, please
make other arrangements. If your child is going home with a grandparent or
someone else, please let his /her teacher know. Thank You.
-We
need K-3 Cafeteria Volunteers. If you are available at least one day
a month from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, we could sincerely use your help to help the
students in the cafeteria. Please contact Chivonne Rutman at chivonnerutman@gmail.com or Melissa
Toler at melissatoler@hotmail.com.
We really appreciate all of our volunteers. Volunteers are a true
blessing to OCS.
