CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK ACTIVITIES:

Monday: Love Your School Day!
-The children will discuss why they love their Catholic School.
-Students will write a class letter to a Fr. Ed Bradley to show our appreciation for all he does for our Catholic Schools.
-Spelling Bee against the other first grades!

Tuesday: Fun in Faith Day!
-Holy card swap; they may bring holy cards from home to swap, too.
-Students from the 4-6 Campus will visit to read to the children.  Then they will make cards for those in a nursing home.

Wednesday: Student Appreciation Day!
-Students may wear any “faith in education” shirt with blue jeans or other bottoms and will receive their own cap to let others know we are a member of God’s team!
-Students from each grade level will participate in a relay contest with the rest of the student body cheering them on in a school Pep Rally.
****AS A SPECIAL TREAT, EVERYONE MAY BRING A SCREW TOP DRINK WITH THEIR SNACK TODAY!  If it doesn’t have a screw top, they may not have it (school policy).****

Thursday: Teacher/Parent Appreciation Day!
-Students will write letters or cards to parents telling them how much they appreciate the gift of a Catholic Education.
-Students will also be encouraged to let their teachers and staff know they are appreciated as well.

Friday: Grandparents Day!
-This is a free DRESS UP day for students.
-Grandparents are invited to attend a special program at 12:30 in the gym.  The students will be singing a song (by grade level) for their grandparents.  After the program grandparents are invited to go and visit their grandchild’s classroom. Then they may check them out from our room and enjoy an afternoon of fun with them!  J
