AR PICNIC NEWS

Our AR picnic is this Friday at Legion Park. (Since so many children will be leaving from the park, it’s not necessary for your child to bring his/her backpack to school.) Here are some reminders about the big day:

-We will load buses around 8:45 or so.

-If you volunteered to help at the park, would you please meet us there?  Brandi Moorman will bring a cooler and will be gathering picnic tables for us.  This will be our meeting place.  You don’t have to follow the children around, but please walk around and monitor them.

-The children should stay inside the perimeter at all times.  If they want to walk on the walking track they MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

-Each child should bring in 2 screw-top drinks WITH THEIR NAME ON EACH DRINK.  They may bring water, Kool-Aid, or sports drinks.  NO SODAS, PLEASE.

-Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the day with us.  It is such a wonderful family time.  You may also check your child out of school at the park.  If you plan on checking them out, please do so at the First Aid Shelter EARLY in the day.  That will help cut down on the huge crowd at the end of the day.  Then you can relax and enjoy the day and leave any time you want.

I’m looking forward to Friday.  It’s always lots of fun!  Thank you for coming and sharing your time with us!  J
